I recently stayed at The Barnes San Francisco, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and had an amazing experience. The hotel has a perfect blend of classic San Francisco charm and modern comfort, and its location makes it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. It’s right in the heart of downtown and close to the famous San Francisco Cable Car System, which made getting around the city easy and fun. Popular spots like Union Square and Chinatown are just a short walk away. The rooms were clean, stylish, and very comfortable. After long days walking around San Francisco, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Everything felt well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. What truly made the stay exceptional was the staff. Valeria, Frankie, and Armarian were absolutely wonderful. They we

I travel often for work and this was the most disappointing and inconvenienced hotel stay ever. 12 nights from 9.21 - 10.3. I previously selected room 733. It was not ready but was told it was one of the better rooms so I decided to wait instead of taking another room. One hanging globe light above bed did not work. Maintenance guy came and jimmy rigged the wire. There was dried up paint all around the light and I wiped it off with rubbing alcohol. There was a HUGE sunken dip in the mattress. Tried to sleep on other side but felt I was leaning towards the dip. The shower curtain barely reached the tub and water ended up on the floor every time. The frig made loud noises and wasn't keeping my food cold. Maintenance guy unplugged and plugged back in and tested it. He ended up bringing me a n

This is the worst Tapestry Collection Hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. The rooms are tiny, poorly maintained, with little to no air conditioning. The worst feature of room 410 was the eclectic collection of nail clippings a previous occupant left. These clipping were not in the bathroom - they stayed on the bedroom carpet for 4 consecutive nights! The front desk were told about these numerous times and nothing was done to remove them. The hotel rooms felt cheap and the noise intrusion from outside added to my low expectations. Hilton should definitely remove this hotel from their portfolio. Avoid if at all possible.

I stayed here for 3 nights as a staycation for my mom while I visited from out of state. I paid about $170 a night for this hotel, and I feel like I got what I paid for. This hotel is old which I knew going in. I really liked the convenience to the BART and Muni. If you don't have a car, this is a great location for convenience with public transportation and walking to some major areas in the city. Staff were okay. Some front desk agents need a brush up on customer service training. Lance was the only one who smiled, so thank you for setting an example for your coworkers. I did not utilize the bar or breakfast, but the free water and coffee in the lobby was all we needed. The elevators are really small; only 4 people with no bags can fit. We had a corner room by the elevators which was sur
