Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort & Spa

The best! Loved every minute of our getaway to Sycamore💕 This resort offers everything! We ordered a charcuterie board for our arrival which was so good after the road trip. I enjoyed my illuminating facial so much, the spa is clean and orderly and the workers are very kind. I also loved that we could rent bikes on property and ride the bob jones trail to the beach. Cherry on top was our private jacuzzi filled with mineral spring water💖 Can not wait to return again. 🙂

We had a lovely little getaway. Hot tub soaks, massages comfy bed, and clean rooms. The check-in was lengthy but staff was nice. The Avila Garden Restaurant has declined in the past few visits. They don't use the main dining area but rather "The Courtyard by Marr. feel" of the bar - it feels dark and outdated. I will say the bartender can make a martini and an old-fashioned. The food is on the pricey side, but portions are large. The spa has the hillside private hot tubs, and the spa rooms are small, and massages are decent.

The name is deceiving because they say Sycamore mineral Springs and there’s nothing mineral about their hot tubs. I rented a hot tub for one hour and it was filled with chlorine and I breathed it in and found myself nauseous. It was so strong. Right down the street is Avala Springs and they have sulfur hot springs, which are genuinely mineral springs. Sycamore should change their name or let people know when they book the tubs that they are not genuine mineral Springs but rather chlorinated water.

My husband and I have come for many years to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we love it so much we’re sometimes coming back a second time during the year. We find the staff are all very courteous and professional, the room is always exceptionally clean, the hot pools are divine. The restaurant has wonderful food and good service.It’s so peaceful. If you’re lucky, you can see the turkeys going through the property. And there’s great hikes and walks right out of the property. Love it here. Always hard to leave.

2/20/26-2/21/26 (Originally booked through 2/23) Room: West Meadow King Suite #703 (~$600/night avg) We were really looking forward to this trip since it was a bday gift for my wife, but honestly it didn't live up to the price. Bed, hard as a rock and very loud. TVs, not smart only have cable, couch, very noisy but comfortable.The hot tub was nice, but not very private. You can see other guests entry doors when standing. We had our dogs with us, and that was a bit inconvenient too. At night, the only grass area is across the bridge. The dog run doesn't have grass and isn't lit. I went to the front desk and explained we weren't happy and asked about canceling the rest of the stay. Ismael was nice and professional, but he didn't really have options. The best he could do was cancel the th
