We had a fantastic 1 night stay at the Petit Soleil. The property has a sweet courtyard to sit outside and free parking for their guests. We arrived and had a great complimentary wine and charcuterie plate that was beyond what you would get anywhere else. Our room was nicely appointed with a good shower after our long drive. But the best were the staff. They were very warm and welcoming. I left something valuable in my room after checkout and they went above and beyond to get it back to me. It would be a great place to stay a couple nights to explore SLO.

I'm obsessed with this adorable bed, breakfast and beverage. The ambiance and the decor make it feel like a real getaway, but right in the center of SLO. It's so easy to walk to downtown and enjoy all SLO has to offer, and having this spot as the home base makes it a perfect getaway. The property has so many thoughtful touches and their breakfast and aperitif hour are the icing on the cake of an ideal bed and breakfast stay, but elevated! It's a must of you are looking to stay in SLO.

Stayed here by accident after getting lost traveling from Bay Area to LA. This is one of my top three charming boutique hotels I’ve stayed. I’ve stayed in Europe, Canada and Asia. The owner seems to love France as the facade and feel depicts you are in a french winery. The courtyard is very nice, relaxing and refreshing to the eyes. I believe they also have lemon trees throughout the courtyard. They also serve appertif (pre dinner cocktails) which is a unique addition to your experience. It is complimentary but I also provided tip to the staff (paid via QR code). Their breakfast is also very nice. You’ll choose one special dish then you get a continental spread inside the café. The room is very nice. We got the King Suite and is very spacious. They have a Medixan restaurant next door

An absolutely beautiful bed and breakfast! I’m so glad me and my partner decided to stay here for our trip to SLO. We loved the room, it was so beautiful with every amenity you could possibly need — a white noise machine, a mini bar, tons of outlets on the nightstands, a large shower, and a supremely comfortable bed. Super, super cute decor. The French boutique theme is incredible. The front desk staff were so friendly and warm. The breakfast service was incredible and included in our stay, we had AMAZING croissants and a quiche, with coffee and tea options. Snacks were available at the lobby and there is a hors d’oeuvres hour that sadly we missed, but I bet it’s as good as the breakfast service. This is also in a great location, with free parking. We were able to walk to all of the shops

We stayed in 4 different hotels during our week long road trip up the coast and this was by FAR our favorite stay. Not only was the room immaculately clean, but the bed was comfortable and the room was gorgeous. It was right in the middle of town and we were able to walk to all of our meals and shopping. Breakfast was delicious and the service was so hospitable. Things that stood out to me: -free parking on site -liquid hand soap and good toilet paper in the bathroom. Also great shower pressure -room layout and use of space, open closet made luggage set up easy and out of the way. -Lovely breakfast setup, try the quiche! -They normally have a cute bar set-up with a cocktail mini-bar for purchase, but since I'm an alcoholic I asked them to remove it before we arrived. They were kind enough
