Customer Reviews
Positive: The hotel employee is awesome, the front office staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is situated close to shops and outings. Negative: The cleaning staff thought it was acceptable to have a loud conversation outside our door. One employee was giving work directions to another. The supply room was adjacent to our room and the ins and outs if the staff, closing the door, didn't help.
We spent a couple nights in a Swiss rock room. The pool and jacuzzis were some of the best I've ever used. We had food at 3 different places. Food is old school basic but good in my opinion. There's bar and dining room are adorable. There's a lot to look at which we loved. Bought lots of cute things in the gift shops: famous goblets, trucker hat, favorite coffee mug with pink flower carpet print, coozie. Couldn't resist. The rooms are all old, dingy, and kitsch but I didn't mind. Was expected but times 5. The pillows were lumpy af (only complaint besides the prices lol). Great experience overall. Would love to go back!
A must stop on a northern Cal road trip if you have a bit of extra time. The quirkiness alone is worth the stop, but their desserts are to die for. My friend usually gets the champagne cake (also, super delish! The cake is so fluffy and tasty!), but I saw the biggest cinnamon roll I had ever seen in my life and decided I had to have it. And O M G, it was literally the most delicious cinnamon roll I’ve ever had in my entire time on this planet earth. I would go back JUST for this pastry magic. I got the kind with nuts but they also have some without. Go for the views; stay for the dessert! It was still decked out for Valentine’s when we went. ❤️
Very fun, eccentric place to stay, right off the 101 highway. Every room is uniquely decorated, some have a quirky entrance. We already had dinner before arriving, but went to the on-site resturant for dessert and coffee. The variety of cakes are delicious. A slice can easily serve two, if you can decide on the same slice. Definitely worth the stay. Bring your swimsuit, the pool is beautiful at sunset.
Amazing place! Only taking off one star because the beds are super soft, I had trouble with my back every day because of just how much I was sinking into the bed while sleeping. Reception is super kind, all staff are bright and helpful. Each room is unique and the entire location is so fun to explore and walk around. I just wish the beds were harder!
