La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Luis Obispo Downtown

Excellent hotel! Friendly and accommodating staff! Hot tub and pool are small but very well maintained and comfortable. The daily breakfast is FREE! They have scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, bacon, cereals, yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, toast, waffles, pancakes, and some pastries. They also have a gym that is nice with all of the usual equipment including a water filling station. Parking is covered and seems pretty secure. The hotel is pet friendly, just pickup after your pet and be sure to leave a daily tip of at least $20.

Guest room was clean, and toilet separate to shower and vanity area setup is convenient. Breakfast was reasonably good. Microwave in room was handy.

We stayed here on 12/27–12/28. The property feels very new, and the room was clean and well maintained.||Check-in took longer than expected, though the front desk staff member was friendly and personable.||After settling in, we noticed the heater wasn’t working. We contacted the front desk and were told the staff member would check with a coworker, but there was no immediate solution. After following up, we requested blankets as a temporary measure. Later, we were informed that another room was available and being checked to ensure the heat worked. Stayed here for Valentine’s Day weekend. Very impressed and happy with the all around stay. We have always stayed across the street at Apple farms but were treated so badly recently that staying there is no longer an option. My regret is not staying here at LaCuesta sooner. Even after a review, we got a lengthy wonderful response:-). This will be our go to hotel whenever we are in SLO or anywhere near.

Caitlyn is amazing. After I dropped off my brother at the door, I went to find parking and she brought a cart out to me because she heard I might have a lot of stuff. She arrived with a helpful smile. Thanks Caitlyn! You made my day. Room is great. Bed is comfortable and the is parking forever.
