SW Hotel

Single female staying alone. Very nice entrance and service. Room lovely and simple. No coffee in room or hotel but coffee shops on the street easy to find close by. Neighborhood a little much for me after dark and was glad I had a companion with me. Reasonable price balanced out all small differences from big chain hotels. Loved the ambiance and simple Chinese decorations!

Definitely glad I stayed here. The service was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I wish I could remember the gentleman’s name who was here to check me in, very polite and very helpful. The room is spotless and perfect. I really enjoyed the stay and will for sure be coming back.

Cheap price for its amazing location! This hotel exactly reflects its price. The beds are nice enough, the room decently furnished while a bit small, but everything is super clean and the hotel staff were super nice. And really, with this amazing location you're not hanging out in your room anyway! Walk around Chinatown for amazing dim sum breakfast, pop over to Little Italy for afternoon espresso, waste a bit of time at City Lights Bookshop before hopping on the bus to Fisherman's Wharf, there's so much to do so close to this hotel. Overall I felt very safe in the area and loved the energy of the location. This is a wonderful hotel and I'd be happy to stay again.

To be honest, this was one of the cheapest options available when booking our hotel in San Fran so we decided to go for it and we are glad we did. The location of this hotel was perfect for us. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, such as Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square, Lombard Street, etc. plus we had the experience of being in China Town, which is such a fantastic experience.||​||The hotel itself was brilliant. The reception staff were polite and knowledgeable and couldn't have helped more. I didn't know what to expect, but it's certainly bigger in real life.||||The room was dated but was of good size and included your own bathroom. It came with what you would expect from a hotel, such as hairdryer, Iron and Ironing board, and TV. There was no tea or coffee making facility i

Overall, my stay at this hotel was enjoyable, but there were a couple of areas for improvement. The staff were absolutely wonderful – friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The hotel’s location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy local attractions. However, my single room was quite small, and it felt a bit cramped, especially for longer stays. Additionally, I was surprised that there was no coffee maker or espresso machine in the room, which would have been a nice touch for convenience in the mornings. That said, the cleanliness and quality of service were outstanding, and I would still recommend this hotel, especially for shorter visits. With a bit more attention to room size and amenities, it could be a truly exceptional experience! 😊
