SureStay by Best Western McAlester

Ample parking and steakhouse next door for food provided you get in before it closes. The lady at the front desk real nice and friendly. Rooms are clean and decent, no problems with the A/C. They don't have front desk open in the morning til open for continental breakfast. I didn't stay to see what they had cause I needed to hit the road and wasn't happy I had to wait to checkout for my receipt. Yes they could email it to me but for work purposes its just easier to get it straight from the hotel before I leave.

I mentioned to the desk clerk that our room was very dirty. We paid for three nights but only stayed 2. I took pictures of dead bugs and dust on everything. Mirror was splattered and nothings been swept or mopped! All linens and towels were stained.

The room, beds, pillows and furniture were nice. The room was semi clean. The floors in the bathroom were dirty and there was no shampoo, conditioner or body wash. The coffee machine and coffee were less than average for Best Western. Towels and wash wrags were great. ||Negative - the 'continental breakfast's was absolutely horrible. I've stayed at many Best Westerns over decades and this was one of the worst breakfast. The customer service and attention to customers was lacking. No vending machines.

Nice clean and updated hotel rooms with comfortable beds. Room has coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, ~50” flatscreen with great picture quality and Direct TV. Simple continental breakfast with good dark roast coffee. The only protein was yogurt and milk. It would be a big plus if they had half and half available! I won’t use Powdered creamer as it is horrible tasting and ruins a good cup of coffee. The parking lot is extremely well lit with room to park a trailer in tow.

This is a hidden gem for sure & I'm so glad we stayed! I typically stay at bigger brands/fancy hotels but this one right here was my favorite. Located right off the highway. The parking lot was extremely well lit and very bright, initially I thought it would interfere with my sleep but the black out shades worked wonderfully and I had the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. Pillows, bed, and blankets were all comfy. The room layout was ideal and provided a good amount of space for suitcases, etc. We enjoyed the simple grab & go breakfast of pre-packaged items. The night employee was beyond wonderful and the morning employee was great as well. Highly recommend this place!!!
