Superior Shores Resort

Resort seems exactly as it was about 10 years ago when I stayed. Rooms are nice, not updated but sufficient. We had a one bedroom Northwoods Condo facing the lake. We were on the first floor so had no view of the lake. We were only there one night so wasn’t bothered by it. Didn’t use any of the amenities so can’t comment. Had a pleasant stay.

Positive: "" Negative: The bathroom tub was dirty. There was no toilet paper except the roll on the dispenser, no soap too. There wasn’t any creamer for the coffee. I had to drive to the main building to get it from the front desk. They had trouble finding any creamer there.

We got to hotel and our room wasn't ready despite it being check in time. We were told to wait in lobby and that they would call us when it is ready. So we did the coloring, rock painting, etc even walked around the hotel ... an hour goes by with our 3 kids in the lobby and just as I am notifying them that we want to cancel they inform me our room is ready. We get to the room and it is not the room we booked, our booking states water view and the room overlooked the parking lot of the hotel, no water. While we waited my sister whom aldi booked at same hotel arrives and her room is ready however we go to her room and it is not in fact clean. There is trash on the counters and what we presume was a tip left for the cleaners that was still waiting. She was then told it would be an hour or so

The hotel staff was terrible. They say they support hockey families and teams, but that is the farthest from the truth. We were at a hockey tournament there 01/16/26 through 1/18/26. There were 2 girls hockey teams there. One of the hotel staff, (Drea was the name of the staff member. At least that's what I was told) told my daughter and her teammate to " be careful because there's 2 hockey teams in the hotel". Later that night she started harassing both girls teams by chasing them out of the lobby (where the puzzles and board games are). She told them that the needed to be supervised (The hotel has a rule that any children 10 and under need to be supervised, these girls are all 12 and older). This staff member said out loud (in front of me) to the front desk person that she was "sick

Just Spectacular!! 💫 Beautiful (the suite) rooms, whirlpool and fireplace in the room, full kitchen, gorgeous view of Lake Superior and a balcony. Fell in love when we walked in! The lobby is so welcoming, adorable and cozy and they have a hot cocoa and apple Cider bar with freshly made popcorn ! It’s so quaint! 🙂 💕 🏠 🍿 ☕️ 😀 Offers a station to color rocks to leave as a memento, board games, chess, and ice skating rentals for their mini rinks. It’s also very close to Gooseberry Falls for a fun day trip. 🏔️ 🏃‍♂️ 🥾 The list goes on… it was so relaxing, the atmosphere felt very high end in a rustic sort of way. It felt secluded and away from it”all” We didn’t want to leave!! Also NOTE* The restaurant The Vue inside resort is also phenomenal! No joke the best BRUSSEL SPROUTS ever had!!😜 C
