Superhero Hotel

I had a great stay and was genuinely impressed by how helpful and accommodating the staff were. From check-in to check-out, everyone was friendly, attentive, and willing to go out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Any questions or requests I had were handled quickly and with a positive attitude, which really made the experience stress-free. It’s clear the staff truly care about their guests, and that made a big difference in my stay. I would recommend this hotel because of the staff!

Spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Large windows let in plenty of light during the day, and the thick curtains allow for darkness at night. The hotel is in a great location, centrally located for many events, and the street it is on, as well as the surrounding streets, feel safe. Friendly and welcoming staff. Would highly recommend.

This hotel has a lot to be desired. The bed and room were fairly clean, that's where the good part ends. Room was cold no heat, room VERY noisy, shower not working, bathroom is super small. Located in a part of town where there was human feces on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. no telephone to call about noise or heat. I've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, this one ranks as one of the worst.

This place need a lot. Got locked out with no employees on site and no one answered the phone. Stood outside in downtown San francisco with my puppy for an hour. Also they tried to charge me $25 for towel damage for wiping up some coffee with one. I tried to open the window and the frame fell apart almost cutting me on exposed glass. This hotel is the worst. DO NOT RECOMMEND !

Located at the old Commodore Hotel, this picturesque early 20th century building was acquired by Frontier Tower in late 2025 and reimagined as a rest inn and social hub for tech builders visiting San Francisco. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished, with blazing fast WiFi and regular cleaning. The mist-wreathed views are beautiful for the price you're paying. Although the broader Tenderloin neighborhood has challenges, the immediate surroundings of the hotel are calm and well-kept. The street outside is clean, quiet at night, and surrounded by cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance.
