Stayed here 4 nights for the Super Bowl experience. We got here late but our room was still available. We paid in advance and they had that in their system so no problem there. We stayed in room 410 nice size room, great shower gets super hot if you want that great water pressure and the shower head has different settings. Elevator worked the whole time that we were here. Our room was so quiet we didn’t hear anything the whole time. My brother was in room 610 he said he could hear street noise the whole night but maybe because he was on the top floor but my girl and I hear nothing for four nights. Staff was great. My girl and I flew in late at night and we walked to the hotel from the Powell station of BART. There was homeless everywhere walking to the hotel but even though they looked scar
This was one of the most unprofessional and uncomfortable hotel stays I have experienced. On the very first day of my stay, while I was in the shower around 11:00 AM, two men began aggressively banging on my door. I rushed to answer and opened the door while still undressed, only to find two individuals with no uniforms, identification, or any indication that they worked for the hotel. They pushed into the room almost immediately, saying it would “only take five seconds,” and went directly to a wall panel where they removed it and swapped out an electronic device. When I asked what it was, one of them initially said it could monitor what I was doing in the room before later claiming it was related to Wi-Fi. Regardless of the explanation, having unidentified people enter a guest room witho
My 2 friends and I stayed here for our first visit to San Francisco and as we are travelling on our budget, this seemed the most affordable option and we liked the location and that breakfast was included in the price so that we didn’t have to worry about paying for breakfast elsewhere. |Staff were friendly enough, however on the first night they failed to mention that there was a restaurant that turns into some sort of club and there was loud thumping music until 2am. We called reception thinking it was maybe a guest as we could feel the vibrations in our room and they explained that they’ll ask them how long they’ll be, this made us confused as why weren’t we informed about this beforehand seeing as they know this happens. The next day, we asked reception and they confirmed that there is
My favorite hotel in SF. Super low key, and a great location from anything in the city. Rooms are quaint and efficient. Everything you need for a safe cozy rest after facing the city all day. I woke up from the hotel and hiked down Taylor to the Embarcadero, then ran across the golden gate bridge and back. It was 16 miles and almost took me 4 hours. But there was no better way for me to fully drink in this amazing city
For a super 8 in the tenderloin, I was expecting worse. First off - the area is kinda sketch; Second: don’t rate the hotel poorly because of the shady people who live on the streets. That’s not a hotel problem. Upon entry, it looks super outdated (hello, Super 8!) with a front desk, computer and printer, stairs & one elevator. Hallways into the rooms are in good condition. The room I had was a suite with a separate room And large bathroom. The whole room was spotless, comfortable and on the warmer side but thankfully AC was provided. The only thing I had a minor issue with was the squeaky bathtub floor, which was heard anytime I moved my feet. Two TVs in room. One bed. One couch to smash the girlfriend in. You know, for uhhh….fun.
