Super 8 by Wyndham Rochester Mayo Clinic Area

I reserved this hotel because it had decent reviews online. However, the hotel did not feel clean. When we got to our room there was a large hole in the wall with writing on the walls. The toilet didn't flush and when I took the cover off the tank, the water was black and disgusting. When I talked to the staff about it, they made no attempt to fix the situation and recommended we find a different hotel which we promptly did. A full refund was issued by Super 8.

Nice reception and breakfast areas. I didn’t get to partake because I was fasting for a medical procedure but they had yogurt, coffee, juices, toasted breads, and what looked like a waffle or pancake machine. Friendly reception staff and cure room decor. The only reason I took off a star Is because they don’t have elevators, which is a problem for people with disabilities like moi. That could have been advertised more prominently.

Aaron was good. But in morning about 11 kicked me out. I said I'm waiting for boss to see if getting another night. Which would've. But she didn't give no extra time.

Positive: "" Negative: Housekeeping was lacking. There was stuff all over the back of the wall, dirty curtains. Signs posted “No smoking within 20 feet of entrance” & staff smoking right by said sign/entrance. I don’t smoke, I don’t want to smell like it.

Not a great place if you plan on staying longer than a few nights, they dont clean your room till you leave, unless you specifically request it. Even then it may not happen. We stays for 3 months. Never once was our room cleaned. Next if you need towels or other items a certain person at the front desk will complain. Shes rude and ju s t not personable. She goes out of her way to make you feel uncomfortable. She also was changing the coffee creamer and stuck her nasty hands in the bottle. Freaking gross.
