Super 8 by Wyndham Middletown

Positive: There was a roof over the building, and a bed to sleep in. Negative: The floor was gross, dry dog food, a piece of electrical wire on it. I would not dare walk on floor. The shower didn’t work. brkfst was from 6-9am. We left at 9 am, chairs were already up on the tables. coffee was lukewarm warm. No cups in room.

To be completely honest, the only good thing about this experience was the front desk staff. The African American woman who works their Shift, was very pleasant and she was very knowledgeable and helped with my questions. However, the property itself is actually not a bad property. But it needs a total overhaul. The floors could at least be swept or mopped. The rooms need to be sprayed down as it has a musty smell. And that's not the best. I was too nervous to use the shower.The bedding made me very skeeved out , but it was the only thing that I could use as a hotel as everything else was sold out for the night. Honestly i think I would have been better off staying in my car.That's how bad it was.Hopefully they can get this property taken care of it has great potential though but it need

[Edit:] 9/16/25 The management + desk clerks are some of the NICEST people I've met in my travels! The housekeeper found my phone charger in 133 and the desk held it for a couple days. I've lost two chargers at "fancier" places that weren't half as considerate! Amazing! 👍👍😃 [Original:] Nice! Comfortable. Clean. We slept soundly through the night. Decor may be dated, but the sheets were clean, the bathroom & towels were clean. Big TV, microwave rotated (not always true at motels 😆 ! ), and fridge worked. DON'T PAY ATTENTION to the GROUCHY REVIEWS! If you're too good for a decent night's sleep, try the parking lot! Second stay in Room 135, with big, cushy, pillow-top mattresses - soft! Excellent price, too! Have stayed multiple trips. Very convenient. Thank you!

This was a stopover on our way home. I get it that Super 8s are an older chain, but this Super 8 is suffering from years of neglect. You can smell the decades of smoke in the hallways, even though the place is non-smoking. It's the kind of place that is so run-down, you instantly question its cleanliness. Only furniture I felt comfortable sitting on was the bed. On the positive side, our pet-friendly room had a newer bed, bathtub, and heat/AC unit. TV and small fridge were fine. Lamps need replacing, floor is severely gouged and remaining furniture very dinged up.

stayed one night in a one bed room on first floor. staff was very polite and professional. however the hotel itself is an entirely different story. the hotel is not very well maintained. you can tell it is outdated and from the moment you enter you can smell the rug. the rug has various stains on the first floor. the room was neat and the sheets were clean. the rug however appears to have never been through a thorough cleaning. i walked barefoot and it felt like its never been washed. the fridge did not cool cool even though the back wall of it was covered in ice. the know of the temperature control had been removed. when I tried to call the front office the phone did mot wornas the cord connecting the hand set was damaged. that might while trying to find a wall outlet to plug in my p
