Residence Inn by Marriott Middletown Goshen

AMAZING!!! Had a girls' weekend this past weekend and this hotel made the experience even better! The staff are SO friendly and helpful (Kim, David, and Rachel-Thank you!!). The breakfast staff were also very nice. The hotel is very clean! They have a full bar, free buffet style breakfast and a restaurant on site. Location is excellent with a Hannaford across the street, if you need it. Also, lots of restaurants near by. HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

We stayed 4 nights at the Residence Inn Middletown/Goshen. The breakfast was typical for a Residence Inn, parking was free, and the location was good - centrally located and off the highway enough that you don't hear traffic noise, but that's where the positives end.||The beds were uncomfortable and had only a sheet and a comforter. It would have been nice to have a light blanket with the sheet since the room was way too hot for a comforter. The thermostat said 66 on the wall, but it was obviously not working or purposefully turned off by the hotel.||The shower temperature was hot one minute and cold the next. One morning, I was 5 mins into my shower when the shower went cold. I shivered for the remainder of my shower as I rinsed shampoo and conditioner from my hair. My husband and son

Very comfortable. A clean, friendly place. We were very happy with our accommodations. A quiet, homey feel made our stressful trip easier to deal with. Front desk attendant couldn’t be nicer and the check in process was quick & simple. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Close to everything.

Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel. We booked very last-minute to visit family, but on the day of our stay we experienced a family emergency — our young child became very ill and we were unable to travel. We called the hotel immediately to explain and ask for help. We understood we were inside the no-cancellation window, but given the circumstances, we had hoped for some flexibility. We even asked if they could consider a partial refund or a future travel credit. Unfortunately, they refused all options, citing policy. In my opinion, this reflects poor customer service. We visit this area often, and had we been treated with understanding, we would have gladly become repeat customers. Instead, this experience has ensured we will not return.
