Super 8 by Wyndham Kingston

Absolutely superb experience! I came from another hotel down the road with better reviews and “amenities”. yet left that hotel feeling robbed. From the moment I checked into this hotel Ganelle and many of the other staff made my stay! The joyous attitude/atmosphere really makes a huge difference especially when checking in/out or even asking for assistance. I even thanked them for their hospitality and assistance throughout my stay during check-out. Coming from someone who checks out online and leaves his keys in the room for collection EDIT: after seeing some of these other reviews I’d also like to comment on the cleanliness of our room. Positive: Good water pressure!! Negative: This is really s 2 star hotel. The furnishings are old and worn, the whole place has a musty smell and it looks dirty. The room had an intense smell of mold and mildew. We contacted the front desk, however they didn't have another room.

The condition of the room was unsatisfactory. The floor appeared to be in a dirty state, leading me to question whether the cleaning staff had adequately attended to the floors and tables, aside from the bed (the mattress and sheets were clean and comfortable). This experience was particularly disappointing, as my nephew and I had reserved three rooms, and none of us felt inclined to take a shower before our departure the following day. Furthermore, the breakfast offerings could be improved; a selection including eggs and toast would enhance the overall experience.

It would have been perfect that the washing machine was working. We kind of expected it to be available, but it was out of order our whole time we were there. About half of the times we stayed over the years, the machines would be out of order for one reason or another. Maybe they can get more reliable machines! Otherwise I stay was perfect I mean really clean quiet safe just a good visit. Happy trails!

Do NOT stay here. The only words to describe this experience are "despair" and "squalor". The property is grossly misrepresented on Wyndham's website and Booking.com. We expected a no frills / short overnight stay between sleep and destinations, but what we encountered will haunt us forever. The staff was friendly and very helpful, but things go down from there. There was blood on the bathroom wall from a botched intravenous drug injection. The entire place from wall to wall is in severe disrepair. ALL furnishings have been sourced from dumpsters and roadside trash. Every bit of paint on is falling off the walls. And worst off all...BED BUGS.
