The Wiltwyck - Inn, Holiday rental, Vacation rental, Short-Term rental

We stayed here for five nights. The location is excellent if you want to be within walking distance of historic downtown Kingston. (The only other downtown hotel is pricey). The room was clean and fine with a comfortable bed. I was glad to be there during cooler weather, since the historic building does not have A/C (there were fans in the rooms plus a ceiling fan in the bedroom, none of which we needed).||The parking is challenging. The Inn fronts onto a busy street with no street parking on either side, so you always have to park behind the building in a very small area with barely enough space for guest cars. This makes it difficult to return to your room quickly if you have to retrieve something you forgot to take with you during the day, since you have to enter the building at the fro

On a roadtrip, we needed a last minute place to stay and decided to book a room at The Wiltwyck Inn. It looked so sweet on the website. And so close to downtown Kingston. It did not disappoint! Our room was so lovely! Actually it was 2 rooms. A charming sitting room and bedroom w/ private bathroom. The bed was so comfortable! The bathroom was well appointed with fluffy towels and so clean! It was beautiful to wake up and look into the sitting room through the French door, with the light coming through the windows. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for one night, enjoyed my experience. Location is fantastic, quick walk to stores and restaurants. Cozy room with nice bedding. There are four rooms on the premises, and we were located downstairs. We definitely felt like we could hear the folks upstairs moving about quite often, and it does feel like the noise was quite loud at times. Could just be the nature of an older home.

II booked a room at The Wiltwyck as a small luxury while attending a conference in Kingston. The hotel looked beautiful on the website, and its location was perfect for the event. Unfortunately, the day before my departure, my father experienced a medical emergency, and I had to cancel my trip at the last minute. While I understood that The Wiltwyck has a no-refund policy, I reached out to ask whether my reservation could at least be transferred to a different date. I was informed that compensation would only be possible if the room was rebooked — which, given the timing of my cancellation and the midweek stay, understandably did not occur. Given the unforeseen circumstances, I had hoped that a hotel of The Wiltwyck’s caliber might show some flexibility or goodwill. Having to absorb a $6

This is one of the most wonderful places I have ever stayed. It was right in the thick of the most historic places in Kingston. They are literally the best hosts I have ever experienced at an Inn or vacation rental. They went way above and beyond helping. This is not just some random place but more like home where the people care. The neighborhood is amazing with historic places that date back to the 1600's. Every building is a work of art. The people are so friendly and helpful. If I could live at The Wiltwyck, I would. Like some old movie where you stay for the weekend and then never want to leave.
