Me, my husband, and my pup had a great New Years getaway! I don’t know why people had any bad reviews about this place. The only thing I can think of is they didn’t research ahead of time and had different expectations. We did our research and knew there were no TVs and we knew it’d be cold so we brought our own small device to stream movies knowing we’d be spending a decent amount of time indoors (WiFi was great) Other than that the cozy little cabin had everything you’d expect of any hotel room (mini fridge and sink, toiletries, hair dryer, Nespresso coffee machine). We brought snacks for our mini fridge knowing ahead of time that there was no room service or convenient place to grab a bite within walking distance this time of year. (There were some chips and alcoholic/nonalcoholic drink

Wow, I don't even really know what to say here, that's how amazing my experience was. It's absolutely beautiful. Year round it's amazing and it's fun in the sun during the warmer months. But something about being here during winter was...magical. High class, intimate, romantic place for your partner and you to have a quiet getaway. The bar has fun cocktails both in the mansion and at the pavilion. The food was PHENOMENAL. My favorite was the truffle fries. They actually used real shaved truffle on top instead of just truffle oil like a lot of other places, so I appreciate the commitment to the craft. Complimentary breakfast was *chefs kiss*. Fun night time hangout at the fire pits with s'mores and brick oven pizza all night. I need to come back and stay in those cabins, I stayed in the man

We are staying here on a Sunday night of Presidents Day Weekend in February. We were very excited to enjoy the pavilion food and drinks and look at the Hudson River since it was almost 40 degrees out, but the pipes were frozen so they weren’t serving drinks and they weren’t serving food (which they did not tell us before our stay). We were very excited for our cute little room, but it was so hot we could barely breathe. We went down and were told that all the rooms were set to 77 degrees but they would help and turn it down to 75. We were very excited to enjoy a drink at the bar after dinner out (we went to Sorry, Charlie - highly recommend!!!) but the dining room and bar are not open on Sunday nights (which they didn’t tell us). We are currently sitting in our room with the door open and

We recently stayed here for a birthday getaway weekend and opted for one of the River View King Cabins. With a light snowfall earlier in the week, we arrived to find the property blanketed in snow — the perfect setting for a quiet, cozy retreat. From the moment we checked in, the hospitality stood out. Jose and Achilles greeted us with such warmth, and Jose made the check-in process seamless. A quick note before describing the cabin — on our first night, we dined at Edgewood Restaurant + Bar. In a moment of optimism, my husband and I decided to walk from the lower cabins up the snow-covered path to the mansion (not something I’d recommend in winter!). I do think this path could have been plowed and lit especially given the layout of the property and folks wanting to move between the mansi

What a lovely stay. the grounds are beautiful and the service is wonderful. Everyone is friendly and wants to do the most to make sure you have a great experience. The views from the cabins are incredible. Of note - some river view cabins are a walk from the parking area but they have carts that can help drive you if needed. We stayed during the winter, and the heater was strong and small touches like an extra warm duvet and radiant heating in the bathroom made it very cozy. A lovely weekend getaway.
