Hotel Kinsley

This hotel is epic. Located in the perfect part of Kingston with so many cute shops and restaurants nearby. The smash burger at the restaurant for happy hour is insane. Special shout out to Greg & Simon who were beyond welcoming. They are the best and I will definitely be back! Thanks hotel Kinsley 🙏

I spent one night at the Hotel Kinsley in Kingston NY with my partner. The hotel is conveniently located in the popular and walkable Stockade District with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Check in was smooth. Unfortunately reaching our room wasn't as smooth as the elevator was out of service, a challenge to climb when you have a suitcase. Hotel decor was modern and stylish. Perhaps the highlight of the hotel though is its restaurant, which offers very good American food in a stylish setting. Breakfast was included with our room. All in all, the Hotel Kinsley is definitely worth considering if you find yourself staying in Kingston's Stockade district.

We chose this hotel to celebrate my husband's birthday, booking multiple rooms so family and friends could stay together and enjoy the hotel's restaurant and bar. (We didn't wanna go out that night since the weather was minus 15 degrees) Upon arrival, we were redirected to a separate buildings with no reception or amenities - just rooms. This information was never disclosed on the website or in confirmation emails. When we raised the issue, we were told this can happen with 3rd party bookings, yet this was never communicated in advance. A manager was supposed to call us but never did. We paid full hotel prices for rooms completely disconnected from the main hotel with absolutely nothing but just rooms Very disappointing experience ...

I have very mixed feelings about this place. We stayed at the Pearl street location and spent the extra money booking a Luxury King Suite- which came with a nice bathroom, and bath tub- yet the bath tub wasn’t working. We booked this room with the hope of being able to relax in a nice bath after a long day of walking and hiking…. However, when we went to turn the water on for the tub, the knob to switch the water from the small shower head to the water faucet shot out of place and spewed water EVERYWHERE. I called the front desk about it, but all they could offer was that we go downstairs to use the shower in the gym. I was so disappointed. Front desk staff apologized, but maintenance was gone for the day and the rooms were booked out. He asked us to mention the issue when we checked

A Five-Star Haven During Snowmageddon The staff at Hotel Kinsley turned what could have been a stressful snowmageddon into a truly five-star experience. Every person who cared for us was kind, genuine, and somehow managed to make gourmet lemonade out of lemons—despite the blizzard outside. It began with Elizabeth, whose warm smile practically melted the snow. Greg kept us laughing and went above and beyond to make sure I didn’t have to brave the storm—and that we enjoyed a truly sumptuous breakfast. Simon was a steady presence, taking care of us around the clock with delicious meals and every amenity we could need.
