Super 8 by Wyndham Harrisonburg

I had a very pleasant experience staying at this hostel, and I truly appreciate the efforts of the entire staff. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming, comfortable, and well organized. The hostel is clean, peaceful, and well maintained, making it a great place to stay. I would especially like to mention Vyshu at the front desk. She was extremely polite, friendly, and professional, and made the check-in process smooth and easy. Her helpful nature and positive attitude made a great impression and added a personal touch to my stay. Overall, the hostel provided excellent service with a warm and supportive staff. The quality of hospitality, cleanliness, and management exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this hostel to others and would be happy to stay here

Hotel cancelled my reservation, one I made in early June and pre-paid, 10 days before JMU family weekend. I called the hotel in June directly to ensure all is set with my reservation, they confirmed it was. Hotel’s action left me with no option to attend JMU family weekend as everything is sold out. No offer to make it right when I called to ask for an explanation. Sub-Pat, terrible customer service is an understatement. Not to mention complete inability to manage reservations. I’ve never encountered such outmost disregard for customers, such callousness by a member of a hospitality sector.

This is the absolute worst hotel I’ve almost stayed the night at. This is a 0 star hotel. We paid more on the corporate site with a 15% discount than someone off the street paid with a very large dog in front of us in line. After paying, we discovered there was no elevator. Walked into the room to a very strong fried fish smell. The bathroom sink had very little water flow when turned all the way on. You could not rinse or wash your hands. The bathroom ceiling was covered in mold. The tv stand and table were covered in very noticeable large sections of wet spots and mold. The bedspread had large cigarette burns. The room was very dark and when attempting to plug in the lamp with a rusted base I was shocked. I absolutely would not recommend anyone under any circumstances to stay the night a

Absolutely horrible they charged me 150 for a deposit on my card after I had already paid in full for my room Saud I'd get it back when I left. It's the next day and they took that money out of my account and r now hanging up the phone when I'm trying to resolve this. And how they grill u about not smoking was ridiculous as to imply that I was going to smoke something even after saying that I don't do anything. Disgusting and I didn't deserve it

Well, where to begin....in short don't go. There are numerous places to stay on the same street. Had I read the reviews I definitely would not have went there. So my bad. My first room stank of cigarette smoke bad enough I had to ask for a different room. The 2nd floor that I was on had alot of South Americans staying there for work, the smell from there rooms was overpowering. I included pictures of my room as a reference, hopefully you get the idea.
