Sunset Motel

I had to extend my travel and needed a place to sleepover for 2 nights. The room was bearable, however, when I brought up issue with the staff, I didn't get a break. No TV, No shower head. The carpet was dirty so I ended up trashing my socks. It has the distinct oder dampness and old AC filters. Dont have high expectations if you stay here and you will be fine. Owner: If your staff (Nick) gave hoot you may not be receiving such an awesome review. NOT! Kudos for grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory!

The Holiday Inn across the street was ful so they directed us to the Sunset. The exterior is sharp, clean & well cared for. Room was clean & tidy. Fridge in room, also microwave. We were just staying overnight, catching a plane in the morning, so it was perfect for us. The road the motel is one was loud & very noisy, but inside we heard nothing. Great value, plus who doesn't like to see hard working people make a go of their business. Owners were nice, 2 teen children (daughter & mom folded towels as we unloaded).

Very clean and free parking! Can't complain about that! Clean fridge, clean microwave, renovated bathroom, clean/cold a/c, clean sheets and clean towels. Fast checkin and very polite family run staff. I had a very enjoyable stay. I read a review about roaches and the hotel being dirty, but I saw nothing but cleanliness. The person that wrote that was obviously tweaking 😂👍

I don't need anything fancy just practical. This small family owned hotel is immaculately clean and owned by a young family that works on it constantly. It is a simple old fashioned motel with no frills but a proud owner and tv and refrigerator in room. 100 feet south is a classic Florida outdoor food stand and the beach is not a bad drive. By far the best value in Dania. Less expensive than Motel 6 and much cleaner and quieter.

I found this place to be horrible. The sheets weren't even replaced after previous guests. The Self called Manager offered me a "clean" set of sheets and it was ever filthier. I've left the place after getting my refund. There are better placer just blocks away that are less expensive and much better managed. I found opened condoms packs on the side of the bed. Nasty, nasty, nasty.
