Wyndham Garden Ft Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port

I will gladly say this hotel is fantastic. The staff are all great! However, I wish I had some reviews left on Google before booking, so I hope this helps...We stayed 1 night and in the one stay, feared for my life in the aspect of some how, homeless people end up entering the hotel and roaming the hallways. Very concerning, because when housekeeping staff leaves the doors open, who's to say that someone can't pop in. Please don't get me wrong, if this hotel is your price range, or where you need to be to depart a cruise, please book. The hotel is fantastic, but just be aware, vigilant and have your guard up.

Room was completly remodelled, extra clean and super comfortable for a good price near airport. It was also really spacious with two different rooms. A++||There was not too much close by walking distance but there was a really good bagel + breakfast place a street corner down and a classic cuban coffee place.||The FLL is a little bit wild for arrivals, so i would say it would be helpful for the shuttle service driver to let you know a window of time, my “i will be there in a few mins” was actually close to 40 mins, i would have gladly just taken a 10$ uber to get to the hotel more swiftly after my long journey (uber pick up is right behind the hotel shuttle pickup). I understand it’s not possible to be exact but even saying they pass every hour would have been clearer from the get go.||Th

Positive: The front desk clerk had an incredibly long line at 11pm when we arrived. Although it took almost an hour for checkin she handled the crowd with a very friendly attitude. The room was quiet and we were at least able to sleep for 4-5 hours before flight Negative: The hotel shuttle was a disaster. I called 4 times. The shuttle was full or just not to be found. We stood outside in the rain at the hotel shuttle stop for 2 hours before it finally showed up. We ended up taking an Uber back to airport.

Great place to stay. The front desk lady was great and made great recommendations for the night. Was my first time in Fort Lauderdale and was a great experience. You can walk some blocks and take bus 4 to get to Dania Beach and enjoy a peaceful beach with a great view. Next time in town will not hesitate to stay there.

Stayed two nights, one before and one after a cruise. Waited for airport shuttle for over an hour and wound up taking a taxi. First night pillows were wet and smelled like mildew, room smelled like dirty mop. We were in a room facing the main road and could hear the traffic all night. Second night got under the covers and bedding was soaking wet, an hour after calling the front desk we finally switched rooms and room was clean and comfortable. Was not happy with the service received for the price paid i would have expected more attention to detail and prompt resolution.
