Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport

My recent stay at Marriott FLLMP (January 19–24) was truly exceptional and easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. I was especially grateful for the ability to check in early, which made a huge difference for a busy work trip and set the tone for the entire stay. I stayed in a King Suite, and everything about it felt thoughtful, comfortable, and well maintained. Housekeeping was amazing — consistently thorough, attentive, and professional, with the room kept in impeccable shape throughout my visit. A major highlight for me was the gym, which I used every day. The staff all very friendly and helpful. As always Marriott never failed me. The price is more expensive that other hotel around but its all worth it.

Stayed here for one night before our cruise and really enjoyed it! The hotel was modern, very clean, and nicely updated. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated — overall, very comfortable.||||I was a bit disappointed that slippers weren’t provided, and the airport shuttle took about 30 minutes to arrive even though my husband called as soon as we reached baggage claim. That said, the complimentary shuttle service is still a nice perk.||||As Titanium Elite members, we had access to the lounge, which was a great bonus. The lounge offered a nice breakfast and light evening snacks, and it’s a lovely space for relaxing or holding small meetings.||||Aside from the shuttle delay, everything about our stay was excellent. We’d definitely stay here again before another cruise!

The free shuttle from the airport to the hotel was quick and efficient. There is a private shuttle to the port which costs US$20 per person payable to the driver. My room is good, but when I tried calling reception the line continued to be busy and just disconnected me each time I rang. The outdoor pool on level 5 is large enough to swim laps, heated and is excellent with a good number of sun lounges available. Pool towels are provided. The food and the service at the bar on level 2 were excellent. I had no trouble with the two elevators although I did have to wait a little each time. There isn’t much to see in the area. It felt safe walking the streets on a Sunday afternoon. Overall 8 out of 10 and I’d stay again.

The front desk and valet staff were not great. They seemed poorly trained and, at times, came across as rude and unwelcoming. It didn’t feel like they were prepared to properly assist guests, and that definitely left a bad first impression. That said, the hotel itself is actually very good. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well kept. The overall structure and facilities are excellent. I also want to give a special shoutout to Hellen from the restaurant. She was absolutely wonderful, super polite, attentive, and genuinely warm. She really knows how to make guests feel welcome.
