Le Méridien Dania Beach at Fort Lauderdale Airport

Great property and location with friendly staff!

Writing this as we’re about to check out from Le Meridien. We booked this room as a pre-cruise one night stay and honestly I wish we could stay longer! The hotel is beautiful, the service even better! Arrived late last night and asked them to bring us a crib to our room; we got an upgrade to a suite and the crib was delivered within minutes, which meant the world with overtired young kids. Had breakfast at the lobby restaurant this morning, delicious food and coffee and then enjoyed some play time in the lush garden overlooking the pool. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a stay close to the airport/port in Fort Lauderdale!

The shuttle service arrived on time however when we got to the hotel one driver asked the other to help him because the bags were going to fall and he said it didn’t matter and just opened the door making bags crash to the ground. We got to the room it was nice except the pillows are very thin. Went to eat they had one waiter who spoke limited English which isn’t an issue but he didn’t even care to try to understand us. The water glasses were dirty and had stuff floating in them. He never asked if we wanted anything else to drink and when my husband asked for a Pepsi he said ok and brought him napkins. The food was ok but very overpriced. Went to take a shower and had no shampoo. We asked 4 times over 8 hours before anyone actually brought us any and it was the guy at the front des

Pick any hotel but this one. Bright flashing light in the room (front desk said it was the smoke detector and there was nothing they could do about it). We covered it with a tank top. I’ve been to countless Marriott’s and this was by far the most disappointing.

Gorgeous entrance and was initially impressed when pulling up. Booked my king room on the actual website, not from a 3rd party over 24 hours prior to arriving. When I checked in, the gentlemen at the front desk was pleasant but let us know at 11pm that they were booked pretty solid. When we walked into our room, we were exhausted and disappointed to find that he'd sent us to a double queen room. I am 6' and my husband is 6'4. I called down to the front desk and he said they were sold out of king rooms. What?? That's what I booked! So, he told me he'd call me back in 5 min with a solution which he did, found us a king room which I was thankful for. Then, we met him at the new room and he proceeded to tell us that "gold" members get priority. 🤬. I have stayed in thousands of Marriott's
