Suburban Studios of Wilmington

The room was nasty when I first into the room I noticed there’s someone use the bathroom and didn’t flush it so I thought somebody else was already in here. They said no, I put my belongings on the bed and left for a meeting and came back that afternoon picked up my towels to get ready to take a shower, and the towels were dirty even had somebody’s hair on it. Also, the bedsheets was nasty. They had to come and replaced everything. I saw a comment on here you get what you pay for which is true I understand a basic rule which I don’t have a problem with, but at least the sheet sitting towels and cloth should be clean. I didn’t even sleep in the bed the first night second night. I just left on the top covers with my clothes on just in case.

The one thing was it was pet friendly. The hot water was not the best. The floor was dirty to a wipe. There was no coffee maker and when checking out it was not made. We have stayed at other Choice Hotels and will be using them in the future.

I stayed here for a period of about 4 months. Bathroom full of mold that I actually cleaned for them. I had a picture fall off the wall and shatter from the neighbors above me always jumping around. Which the office never did anything about. Elizabeth is very very rude and doesn't need to be in the position she is in. During check out she said the room was good and released my security deposit. After I moved out a couple days later the deposit was gone as if they stopped payment and kept the money. They are thieves. There are some good workers there like maintenance and the ladies at the front desk. And who ever is in charge of Elizabeth is also a great property manager. I forget her name but she always took care of me

Myself and my service dog slept on a biohazard contaminated mattress. It was completely covered on both sides with urine feces and blood, my pillowcase had blood on it. Me and my service animal were forced to sleep on the floor to avoid The biohazard contaminated material. I attempted to resolve the issue with the hotel with no response I attempted to call choice hotels with no help whatsoever. Now I'm sitting here trying to figure out where to take a shower to wash the blood urine in feces off of myself and my service animal who is already beginning to show a rash on him for some reason.

We were assigned to room no. 136 which was advertised as a No Smoking room and listed as such on the entrance door. The room had a prominent odor of cigarette smoke. At first we thought it had been closed for a while and would dissipate but that didn't happen. After leaving the room for a while and then returning, the smoke odor was immediately noticeable. Considering that the room had no carpet or drapes, it's obvious that many previous guests had ignored the No Smoking policy for that room.
