Studio 6 Monroe, LA - Hwy 165

PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY IN THE MONROE, LA AREA @ STUDIO 6 MOTEL. You will be very disappointed and irritated 😠 with killing roaches all night. (Never get a room that say no refunds and doesn’t provide a copy receipt) . This place is infested with roaches and half of the equipment is broken or partially working. I’ve never seen roaches in the toilet until I got here! This is the worst motel experience I’ve ever had in my life and this place needs to be shut down. Rooms are $75 dollars on up, please save your money and get better motel quality somewhere else.

One of my favorite stays. I had booked a hotel I had not been to in 4 years. I arrived and the place was really run down since my last visit to the point I felt unsafe to stay there. I left and started calling around for a place to stay I could afford and found the Studio 6 which I had never stayed at before. I arrived and was treated like a queen from the check in to the laundry room. My room was perfect, nice and clean and located in a good area where I felt safe close to the front desk. All week was absolutely perfect and I ask to be put in their computer for a reservation for 1 year from my stay as I return there the same time every year for Memorial Day.

Room with 2 full beds was $80 per night. Air conditioner was great. No ice bucket so I was given a garbage bag for ice. Was in a smoking room and they told me they don't provide ashtrays. Shower is set up very weird where you are spread eagle against the wall to shampoo your hair. Toilet didn't flush right. Only 3 channels and no guide. When picking up dogs food bowl, German cockroach ran out. This place would be just ok if it were $40 per night but definitely not worth $80 per night

While we were there, I rented out an extra room for my mother in law and discovered they double booked the room when two men went inside the room as well. Instead of accommodating the other party, they called the law and made them leave. Might I add, this individual had been in the room beside me for weeks for work (just as we were) and they suddenly made him change rooms for no reason. The owners of the establishment wouldn't even face the gentleman. They hid in the back and made their employees do all their dirty work for them. They also charged his card an additional $150 while we were standing in the lobby with the police. Present day, I wasn't supposed to check out till Friday 3/21/25 (currently Thursday). I went back to grab the rest of my things and clean. They stole my garbage can

Very weird experience. You can not speak to the front desk person. She is locked inside the office. I had to put my head into a 'bank teller' drawer to converse. The room was disgusting any there was no hot water.
