Stony Creek Lodge

Love staying at the Stoney Creek. This was our second visit and even though we had a minor hiccup with our reservation, the manager Ms Thelma went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The rooms are very clean and you are right near so many things in Maggie Valley. Cute back porch overlooking the water. Love it!

Got a great deal on this hotel and was impressed with the reviews so I wanted to give it a shot. I was very impressed when we got there. The kind lady at the front desk was very sweet and got us checked in while we were greeted by a very friendly pup. We got into the room and it was very spacious and remarkably clean. We were not in the room much as we were there to ski but the heater worked great, the bathroom was clean, the beds were soft. This was a great visit and I would definitely stay here again! The one thing I could say that was a tad off was the bed size, they were a little on the small side. We picked 2 queens and it really felt like 2 fulls. Other than that, would definitely stay here again!!

My husband and I were in Maggie Valley for our wedding and a major winter storm was coming in, which drastically changed our ceremony and lodging plans. Regina at Stony Creek Lodge was a God Sent Angel for us! She quickly booked us a room and told us if we could not continue with our plans for our sunrise hike ceremony, that we were more than welcome to have our ceremony on the creek behind her hotel and we could also use the gazebo. That is exactly what we ended up doing. The rooms were clean and all staff were so friendly to us. We will definitely recommend Stony Creek Lodge to everyone! We will stay here again in the future when in the area.

This is a lovely, cozy motel by the creek. The room is clean with a rustic "cabin in the woods" decor that felt like home. The lady at the desk was super friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our only minor complaint was that the shower took a while to get hot, but we would absolutely stay here again.

We were greeted with a smile, quick check-in service and a cute doggy! The rooms were very clean, The view and balcony was beautiful. The cleaning staff were also Very welcoming and friendly!
