Staybridge Suites Plano - Richardson Area by IHG

This location has been wonderful! Amazing customer service from Curtis in sales and Shawna at check in. So friendly!!! Going to be here a long time so glad for the experience. Breakfast has several options.

The stay overall was good. The front staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue that we ran into was the cleaning staff gave us push back when we asked for extra towels. There were five of us in the hotel because my stepson had a basketball tournament. The first full day we were the after sleeping the night the person that was doing room service said we can only have three towels after I told her we have five people in the room. The second full day we were there my wife talked to the room service person and had to go back and forth with a supervisor in order to get additional towels. I understand not wasting resources, but we weren't trying to game anyone. That was the only negative on an otherwise good stay The breakfast was good and the location is also pretty good. This staybridge is within walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store with a huge deli. It has kitchenette . Bed was comfortable. Housekeeping was everyday , the whole hotel was clean. They have a basketball court, indoor pool, free laundry machines, outdoor seating area and plenty of indoor seating. Breakfast every morning with hot items and cold items.

Gym bike broken 6+ weeks, Basketball hoop busted for longer, Daily reminder to fill in the water bottle at the gym, IHG Upgrade and Welcome gift policies not followed, Need more customer friendly staff, who are focused on the guest instead of making things convenient for their own persona (multiple guests complaining) Rooms missing silverware and other conveniences All around subpar experience, would NOT recommend

I will say that this was my first time staying at this type of property. The staffs attention to my needs was amazing. The room was very cozy and comfortable. i would have loved to seen another end table in the living room window side between the chair and couch. Also there was a spot in the bedroom that could have used a table as well. There was an abundance of power outlets in the room. Totally impressed as not many hotel rooms have enough outlets, not to mention the location of them. One big con was the breakfast quality, and it seems they are lacking a few items quantity wise.
