Home2 Suites by Hilton Plano Legacy West

Have visited here several times now. Very convenient to Ericsson headquarters and many other HQs in the Legacy/Plano area. It's a new hotel so everything is updated and in good shape. The rooms are spacious and laid out very well. Every room has a small kitchen as you walk in with a full fridge, microwave, sink, stove, etc. Given the competitive price for the area having the kitchen is a big plus. The staff are all quite friendly and helpful. Breakfast is complimentary for all guests. I've had better breakfasts, but it's pretty standard so I'm not going to complain. They don't have a bar but they do have a big common area and a pretty well stocked shop/fridge area with beer/wine and frozen/prepared meals. Overall, a great place, quite close to key places. George at the reception is fantastic. He solved a big issue for me graciously.

This was a terrible hotel experience from start to finish. The staff was neither helpful nor friendly, which immediately set the tone for our stay. Had to wait an “ extended amount of time “ for our room to be ready. The AC and heat are motion-sensored, meaning they only work if you’re physically in the room. If you leave for any amount of time, the system shuts off completely. When you return, the room feels stuffy with poor airflow and awful air quality. On top of that, the room had a strong chemical smell, similar to Fabuloso, which made it even more uncomfortable. When I requested an extra pillow, I was told I had to come down to the front desk to get it myself because they “had no help,” whatever that means. That level of service is unacceptable for a hotel. I usually stay next door at the Hampton Inn but this property was definitely a great choice. While it does get full the property is well maintained and most importantly clean. Rooms were nice and fresh no hand prints or hairs etc. There's plenty of space in the rooms aswell as the hallways. Lots of parking and hotel is close to toll way and a Chipotle, Whataburger, and a racetrack. Would recommend this location if your in the area it won't disappoint.
