Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Plano/Richardson

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this hotel. I travel to Dallas quite frequently for work and began staying here about 3 years ago. Because I love it so much, I have convinced all my coworkers who also travel to Dallas to stay here too. The morning bistro staff is the MAIN reason that I come here. She remembers me, my order and treats me like family. I look forward to seeing her every time I visit. Hospitality is a very demanding job but she is always pleasant and it just really makes my day.

Severely overpriced hotel with average service. I asked for a wake up call and the hotel staff member showed up at my door banging on it at 7am, hopefully, he did not woke up half the floor.

Let me start by saying this facility is very nice clean, convenient, accommodating, and supported by an overall amazing staff. So why the 1-star review? Because on three separate occasions, the night bartender was extremely rude, dismissive, and completely out of line. The first two times, I simply asked for basic items a plate and later a cup. She was sitting at the guest tables on her computer, clearly focused on something else, and reacted as if my request was an inconvenience, all times I told the front receptionists and their response was very polite and apologetic to ask them instead of her as a resolution. The service and attentiveness were excellent; however, the room quality did not meet expectations. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the pillows provided little support, resulting in persistent neck soreness throughout my stay. Additionally, the doors are extremely heavy and tend to slam shut, causing frequent noise disturbances day and night. At times I would be woken up in the middle of the night due to the slamming of the doors. I will not be staying here again for any future business trips.
