We were greeted by a smiling, friendly Joanne, who assisted us with check-in. She is a font of knowledge and gave us some great suggestions. Joanne wasn’t only running the front desk, she’s serves as a concierge! ||The room was spacious, bright, and spotless! The bed, so comfortable, the linens perfect. The bathroom was large and had excellent water pressure. We had a nice view from our fourth story room. ||Before turning in for the night, we enjoyed a night-cap at the hotel bar and watched as Ignacio crafted specialty cocktails. We munched on some fries, which were hot, crisp and delicious. ||Not only is this hotel, welcoming and comfortable, its staff are topnotch!||This will be our go-to hotel when visiting the peninsula, and I’m happy to disclose that Springhill Suites by Marriott is

Enjoyed our overnight stay and found the Springhill Suites very hospitable. The staff were considerate and professional. The rooms were well designed for work/sleep and were large and airy. We preferred the ocean view as it was lighter and although the ocean is farther off it is still a pleasant backdrop as the hotel commands an elevated position. The area is still under construction and the potential is interesting. There is already a shopping Centre completed with stores and restaurants and within easy walking distance but we ate the snacks in the hotel and enjoyed the views and sunset from the terrace fire pits. Breakfast was excellent and included and offered health conscious options. A very pleasant sojourn.

From the greeting you receive when you enter (Joanne is a delight), to the room, the views, the wonderful breakfast - SpringHill Suites is our number one choice when visiting the area. Large, clean, well appointed rooms, with ample storage. Lovely lobby. Terrific breakfast offerings and ample seating. I stayed at SpringHill Suites by Marriott The Dunes on Monterey Bay in early December, and this was my very first experience with a SpringHill Suites. I was genuinely blown away by the quality of the property. The hotel feels very modern, with beautifully designed, well appointed rooms that are both comfortable and functional. There was plenty of space to work, relax, and truly settle in, which made it ideal for a multi night stay. DiDi at the front desk was especially kind and personable, and her warm service made a great first impression. The location is another major highlight. It is extremely walkable to food options and general shopping and is set within a newer development that feels thoughtfully planned and visually stunning. We recently stayed at the SpringHill Suites at The Dunes, and it’s a solid choice for the area. The room was very clean, and the location is excellent—there is a shopping center within walking distance for anything you might need. Navigation Tip: When arriving or leaving, it is much easier to use the entrance on 2nd Ave. There is a traffic light there, which makes getting in and out of the complex much safer and faster than the other exits. The Room: Each room comes equipped with a fridge and microwave, though the rotating plate in our microwave was the wrong size and wouldn't spin properly.
