Old Marina Inn

I give this place 4 stars because it doesn't have all the frills of a fancy hotel, but it is QUIET, it has always been SAFE and SECURE for us. You can park right outside your room and parking is free. The facility is only 1 story tall so nobody is stomping around overhead. The rooms have a fridge, microwave with turntable. Bathrooms are small but have plenty of hot water that arrives quickly when you turn on the faucet or the shower. TV is adequate, the furnishings are adequate with a 3pc dinette in our king bed room; and a long dresser to set out bags on. We have stayed here many times and been pleased just the same as on our most recent stay in May 2023. One thing that is especially nice is the LOCATION and ease of access to Hwy 1 when traveling southbound towards Monterey or goin

I've stayed here a few times, wonderful place. Its run by a lovely Indian lady, friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, everything is always clean. Location is great, very close marina beach and rt1 access. Everything works, except occasionally wifi drops out, can use phone as Hotspot, cell coverage is good here. Only downside is bathroom is a bit tight. Great value, I won't hesitate to come back next time I'm in the area.

Perfectly serviceable roadside lodging with clean rooms and friendly staff. I like being able to park right at my room door like at this motel. The morning coffee was not great but that's pretty much to be expected for the price. Some very good take out Thai food was nearby, too.

Positive: I hated it. It?s the worst place I?ve ever booked. They should get rid of the bed bugs before allowing people in. Negative: It was the filthiest place I?ve ever been to. Dusts, bed bugs, nasty smells, unbearable bathroom, sink clogged.? so many things.

The rooms are always clean and the mattresses are very comfortable. The location is perfect for going to Marina State Beach, Monterey area and Santa Cruz.
