SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Luis Obispo

This is a very noisy hotel, hard to sleep in. They leave the music on until late at night in the courtyard, so try to get a room that faces outward if you can. The area is VERY brightly lit, and the 'blackout' shades have big gaps on the sides so they don't work well. The parking charge is excessive, you can find other options in the area without the charge. Tesla chargers onsite and the decent breakfast are the only bright spots. I don't write a lot of negative reviews, but this is a place to avoid.

Location wasn’t a concern since most guests arrive by car, and there were some good fast food options nearby. The hotel itself was clean and very spacious, which made for a comfortable stay. Down side was the complimentary breakfast could have a bit more variety.There was no assistance provided for unloading our luggage, which was quite inconvenient.

Stayed here for 2 nights with family. It's a fairly new hotel so it's very nice and clean. The staff were great and friendly. We used our Marriott points to stay here and glad we chose the place. It's quiet enough but also near eateries like SLO ranch area and other shopping plaza which very walking distance like Target/Costco, etc.... It's great for family stay. The room has a microwave and a small fridge, it's good for folks who prefers to stay inside their room and eat. The room itself is spacious enough for 4 of us but I think we still could fit 2 more with sleeper sofa. I love it when the room has lots of chargers or outlets so I don't have to keep things from me. It's also close enough to downtown- I think about less than 10mins. Just have to take out 1 star because they charge for p

So glad we stayed here! We decided to break up the drive from NorCal to SoCal with a night in SLO given we are driving with a toddler. This hotel is brand new, SO clean, and the room layout is great for families. Extremely spacious with a pullout couch that could sleep up to 2 people if needed. The couch converts to a single bed and has a trundle underneath it, which our 4 year old slept on and enjoyed (mattress maybe too stiff for an adult). The included breakfast was comprehensive (hot oatmeal, eggs, sausage, waffles) and the property is huge and spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed with my sons and we enjoyed the hotel it's very clean, spacious rooms, I would like to thank Kevin and the other gentleman in the front desk whom did an amazing job helping us. I would also like to thank the housekeeping ladies Veronica and Rosalinda who helped us with an issue. Amazing service from these two ladies. My sons would love it if we went back for our following events here. The breakfast staff was on top of it helping everyone. Trying to meet everyone's requests. Yes I rated it top because of mainly of their customer service.
