SpringHill Suites by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port

Our room and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was adequate. Front desk was okay. For what we paid is was good. We were stuck in the area due to snow in NY/Metro area. We stayed one night, my son and family had a better room. We still had a delay and the price they wanted to charge went up $300/night. For $200 a night it was worth it, certainly not at $500/night!

Positive: The pool was really nice and they have cucumber lemon orange water it was good Negative: I didn’t really like the breakfast but some of it was okay

We stayed at SpringHill Suites Marriott Ft. Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port in late October, and our experience was excellent. Aaliyah, Shawn, and Natalie at the front desk were outstanding — warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They shared great dining options within walking distance and offered useful shopping recommendations as well.||When we returned from our cruise, they provided complimentary storage for our bags before we headed to the airport, which made our travel day so much easier. The breakfast, while standard, was consistently refreshed and kept very clean. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of cold bottled water both when we arrived and again when we departed.||Overall, the hospitality and service were exceptional. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommen

I would never stay at this hotel again. Not only was the room outdated, and the bathroom practically falling apart - my sister’s phone was stolen from the buffet by a HOMELESS PERSON. We had to track her phone through the city and onto a bus and confront the person ourselves to get her phone back before our cruise. When I came back to the hotel and asked to speak to the manager, the front desk staff said they had seen the person but couldn’t confirm he had stole anything hence why they didn’t call the police and were “impressed” we got the phone back. Even if he didn’t steal a guests property, he was trespassing on your property as he was not a paying guest. We were FAR from impressed with this property. You need to increase security at the front door if you have this issue.

I would rate all of these lower star amounts if that was an option. The location of this hotel was perfect for me and my class considering we are in Florida for a school competition, so that is the only positive. Now for the negatives. We were told we would have two beds and a pullout couch for 6 girls to share. We enter our room to find the two beds, and what we thought was the pullout couch. NO! Instead, its a trundle bed, and when you pull the bed out, it is a mattress about 2 millimeters thick, has no sheets, and is covered in stains. The couch is also stained I should add, so we aren’t comfortable sleeping on top of that. The stains are dried white and brown! 😊 How welcoming. Additionally, the provided sheets had hair, lint, and even a dead bug in them. Mind you, this is our first imp
