Spark by Hilton Ames

What a beautiful hotel! I really like the remodel. The hotel was spotless. I had the opportunity to stay during the Christmas season and the decorations were so fun and creative. The staff seemed happy to be there too, which speaks volumes about management. Im getting married soon and will have family and friends book at Spark.

We had a wonderful stay! It was very clean. Staff were friendly. The only disappointment was not having a hot option for breakfast. It was very basic. My kids enjoy waffles, eggs, potatoes, etc.

Positive: The employees were very, very nice. Negative: They are remodeling and it is a mess. Room temp was 65 degrees (FREEZING), shower knob came off in my hand. Switched rooms, and the curtains wouldn't close. (This was on the "finished" floor) Breakfast was coffee, oj, yogurt and cheap bagels.

Rooms a little on the smaller side but the remodel turned out nicely. The main reason for my review, is to acknowledge and applaud Spark’s employee Jay. We were welcome with a big smile and everything we asked for/needed, he helped with. Thank you Jay for providing great customer service!

Starting this review with saying all the staff I directly dealt with were wonderful and very kind. Booked this location while traveling a very long trip with my infant son. Cleanliness was less than average. Stink bugs in bathroom, hot water was taking quite a long time to warm up in the shower, and some of the towels had a yellow tint to them. They were all crunchy feeling with a very sour smell. The noise level was awful in the building. There were adolescent groups running around the hallways slamming doors. It woke up and startled my infant multiple times making traveling difficult when we stopped to try and get rest. Not the employees fault though, but you could hear everything on the floor. Elevator several rooms down, anyone closing their door. Only a Hilton Gold member, but will
