Home2 Suites by Hilton Ames

Nice place to stay with a larger family when visiting Ames. Rooms are spacious and clean. Appreciated the mini kitchenette. Not very close to the university, but it's easy enough to get there or to shopping/food.

Brandy went above and beyond to make our business trip for John Deere truly unforgettable. She helped us recover a pair of cargo pants we had forgotten, assisted us in updating and modifying our reservation, and even spoke with her manager to ensure we received the best possible service. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly stood out. Brandy was always friendly and attentive, and by the end of our stay, we felt like we had made a great friend. Thank you, Brandy, for everything-you made our experience amazing!

Hotel is fine. Its new, reasonably priced. Front desk woman was nice, hotel is clean. But apparently, local policy is to charge $50 for early check in (after 10) and a full nights stay before 10. I've not seen that before, and considering I'm traveling on military orders, I was a bit surprised they'd not consider a waiver, but now my feedback gets to end up here for all to see, so perhaps management will reconsider it for future folks. Or not. Who knows.

Great 3 night stay! Stayed in a King Suite with 1 bedroom. It had a fabulous kitchenette with a large fridge. It was perfect for our family of 3!

Booked online with credit card, but when got there couldn't use digital check in and had to pay at the desk. Not sure why they didn't charge my credit card when I reserved online. It was fine, I didn't get charged twice. I received an email a day before check in. The email said I could check in a day early, I guess so the room would be ready, but it didn't work, I tried again at check in and it still said unavailable. So disappointed I went to the desk to check in and pay for room. I didn't like the setup, of how when you walk in you have to see people at the desk. It's like a requirement to say hi. I personally like to check in digitally and go to room without contact. I will choose a different hilton next time, there were like 4 including this one. I chose this one because it was the
