This hotel has very nice staff. As a Black woman, traveling can be difficult at times because you don't know how people will treat you, but this hotel felt very safe, and the staff was amazing. I will be checking out this place again since I regularly get hotels for my self-care days, and they are pet-friendly.

The staff is friendly. Great for traveling with a dog. Location is good and room was clean. Downside needs many updates. Would be nice if you could get a room with a king size bed. Heating and air needs updated smells musty at times. Up dating by getting rid of the carpet and replacing with allergy friendly flooring would be nice. Would we stay there again probably. Location, price and area to walk the dog plus being quiet.

Review for Sonesta Simply Suites Detroit Ann Arbor I stayed here for two weeks for work and would not recommend this hotel. The Wi-Fi is extremely unreliable, which makes it difficult to work or even stream anything consistently. Instead of addressing real issues, management seems more focused on sliding notes under your door telling you what you can’t do or what you should be doing. Housekeeping was a major problem. Trash was left in my room for three days, causing a noticeable odor. That’s unacceptable for any hotel, especially one marketed toward extended stays. The gym is outdated and poorly maintained. Most of the equipment is very old, and the one decent machine is broken something that could likely be fixed quickly, but clearly isn’t a priority. The only positive thing I can sa

First time I've tried out an extended stay Hotel, it was only for one night. Still nice to be able to prepare a meal, eat and relax before the show we were going to see. For a place that is pet friendly I must say, very impressed that it didnt smell. Room was clean and the Bed was comfy. We come to Ann Arbor from NC every year, we will definitely be booking another stay here.
