During my stay, I accidentally left my wallet in the ladies’ restroom. This was not some cheap $5 wallet — it was an extremely expensive wallet that someone could have very easily walked away with. Instead, an honest and kind person turned it in to the front desk. What truly meant the world to me is that after I had already left the hotel, the staff immediately called me to let me know they had it safely in their possession. In a world where it’s easy to lose faith in people, this experience reminded me that there are still humble, honest, and genuinely good-hearted individuals out there. Positive: we had 2 small children with us and when we went t to the front desk because the neighbors were smoking pot the quicky put us in another room on another floor. The staff was fantastic help with our bags. Negative: ""

I contacted the hotel prior to arrival to confirm the earliest possible check-in time. I was informed by the hotel that check-in would be available at 3:00 PM. This information directly influenced my arrival plans. Upon arrival at 3:00 PM, the hotel declined to provide check-in and instructed me to wait until 4:00 PM. This contradicted the information previously provided by the hotel. No corrective action or accommodation was offered. Providing inaccurate information in advance and then refusing service upon arrival reflects poor operational standards and a lack of consideration for guest experience. This conduct undermines trust and raises serious concerns about the hotel’s commitment to basic hospitality obligations.

We got in very late, but check-in was smooth and our room was ready. Breakfast is not included. There’s not a lot offered and what is offered is expensive. Very nice staff!

I recently stayed at Sonesta Select San Jose Airport and I can absolutely say this has been one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I checked in to now, the service, comfort and attention to detail have been exceptional. First, special thanks to Elyas. Elyas upgraded my room from a standard to something truly next-level. I have a balcony, an extra couch, dedicated privacy space, an amazing view from the high floor, and a bathroom so spacious and pristine it almost feels indulgent. The bed is so comfortable that for the first time in a long time I didn’t have any neck issues; the pillows are unbelievably soft and supportive (if you’re using that material on-site, I’m going to do some pillow research!).
