Sonesta ES Suites Providence - Airport

Positive: The proximity to the airport. Negative: The room was not very clean, the bathroom towel bar was falling off the wall, the walls were in disrepair. The entry area was a mess.

My room was dated but clean. It was very quiet which was great. Only issue is that my room didn’t have any heat or hot water so I was freezing all night long and couldn’t shower for my meeting. I ran the water for 5 min and it slowly warmed up but never got beyond Luke warm. I called the front desk but it was too late to get anyone to come fix it and I was never offered a different room or refund. They offered me extra blankets but I didn’t feel safe walking outside at almost midnight to the front of the hotel to get them. Only one person is available at the front desk at night so she couldn’t leave to bring them to me either. I didn’t sleep well.

Me and my daughter stayed here for 2 days while in town for my uncles funeral. I drove up from NC and was going to arrive a little early so I called to see if I could check in any earlier. The person on the phone told me my room would be ready at 4:00 but when I booked online a week before, google said it would be ready at 3:00. I asked if I could check in any earlier and they said with an attitude the earliest was 3:30. 30 min AFTER online stated check in time was. I ended up hanging out in my car for a few hours after a 12.5 hour drive until 3:30. Room was large and had most of what we needed for the 2 days. (Conditioner was out in the bathroom) but we bring our own things like that so it wasn’t a big deal. Late Saturday night there was lots of noise and screaming coming from somewhere o

Wagner, April, Maria, Ishmael made my stay incredible, the place was clean, Maria sometimes stay late to have an apple and a muffin for me. They treats you like a family. They have the best mattress in all Rhode Island. Definitely I will come back.

This place is run down and needs serious work. We stayed in a lofted 2 bedroom suite- but outlets did not work, there was a hole in the living room floor (they just put a chair over it), bathroom shower rod came off the wall - and they came to fix it but just tacked it back up in the same place - so of course it came off again. the refrigerator functioned but the dishwasher and stove top did not. Breakfast was ok- ample food but nothing special about bread to toast, oatmeal and scrambled eggs. Not far from airport or onramp to highway and the area was quiet. tried to add photos, but not able
