Somerset Inn

☆☆☆☆☆||We have been coming here for years. Stevie at reception is exceptional. She always makes our reservations flawlessly. Her personality and outgoingness are one of the reasons we keep coming back to the Somerset Inn. They are very lucky to have someone of her caliber. Also Dee, the server for breakfast is amazing. She cannot do enough for you and always sports a friendly and welcoming smile. What a wonderful establishment to stay in. I only wish I could give the Somerset Inn 6☆s. Bravo.

The rooms are smaller than most, with Queen beds rather than Kings, and the bathrooms are "cozy" to say the least. But everything is in good condition, with nice decor. The staff is outstanding, and the location is perfect: next door to the Somerset Collection, and close to I-75. Less than 30 minutes to downtown Detroit. All in all, the Somerset Inn is a very nice hotel. Some may consider the rooms to be too small for couples, or they may not like two Queen beds instead of a King. When I'm in the area on my own, I'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Somerset for business and the experience was great. The rooms were a little dated, but the hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff here is great. Everyone I interacted with from the front desk, restaurant and housekeeping... they were all great. Made us feel right at home and we appreciated that. The location is perfect. Close to literally everything and easy to get around. I would have no problem staying here again. Thanks for a great trip

Positive: Beautiful hotel - lobby, front desk, decor etc. This was for business. Truly wish I could have stayed longer and enjoyed the mall. Negative: Little things - coffee service was very small and hidden in the room. Wish there weren't the teeny bottles of product and instead had the large type mounted in the shower - such a waste of plastic. No coffee service in the lobby.

I recently hosted my second special event at the Somerset Inn, and once again, it was absolutely fabulous! I held my daughter’s wedding shower here two years ago, and just celebrated my other daughter’s baby shower last weekend. Both events were everything I hoped for and more. The food was incredible, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The buffet was unique and impressed all of our guests. The room setup was perfect, elegant, comfortable, and easy to decorate, which really allowed me to create the look and feel I wanted. Pam, our head server, provided excellent service with such warmth and professionalism. Dave, the manager, checked in several times to make sure everything ran smoothly, and Carrie, my banquet and catering manager was amazing to work with, attentive, organized,
