Sleep Inn Wilmington near University

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days and unfortunately I had the worse experience ever, first there was roaches coming out at night. This shocked me I only saw one and then later in the night when I used the bathroom I saw a whole hoard of roaches.. The house keepers were trying to ENTER my room when I had “do not disturb” on my door knob, I was asleep and I heard a MALE house keeper saying he’s going to enter my room. I had to yell out loud do not enter! He unlocked my door and kept trying to enter my room, with the door lock knob on. My bf was in the room with me and he had to yell do not enter, as-well this made the male house keeper stop trying to attempt to enter our room. This was the only til a male house keeper tried this, the female house keepers knocked and I gave them what trash I

This location is close to everything we want to do in Wilmington. The facility is well cared for, and the staff is always friendly. We have stayed here many times.

A pleasant stay, no issues. I was at first concerned about previous reviews about the room conditions, but my room was clean and didn't smell. It appeared the room had recently received some updates. I considered the location and potential issues with thieves, etc., but there were none. The nights I was there, there were quite a few "service trucks/crews" staying, and there were no issues with trucks/tools, etc., being disturbed during the stay. I had inadvertently left a rear window open in my own vehicle overnight, and there were no issues!

The room and hotel were very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate and included waffles, as well as other options. The location was close to the college and the airport. The hotel itself is very old and in need of updating, but overall it was a good stay. Not fancy by any means, but certainly acceptable.

I really enjoyed my stay here! the rooms were super clean, breakfast was good and also the service was nice. Amari and Lay at the front desk were amazing/sweet and super helpful <3 i’ll definitely come back anytime i need a hotel to stay in
