Sleep Inn & Suites Laurel near Fort Meade

Absolutely WORST hotel experience I’ve ever had in my whole life!!!! And I am requesting a FULL REFUND as I could not complete my business tasks due to the cheapness I this hotel!!!!! First things first I specifically called before booking this hotel to ask if they allowed late check-in the manager told me yes and didn’t mention anything about late check-in fees so to my surprise when I got here at 1 AM and they told me I had to pay an extra $79 because I checked in after a certain time non of which the person on the phone communicated! Fast-forward I’m here on A business meeting and I have a bunch of papers that I need to print out they won’t let me print them out at the computer!!! I mean, I’ve been to some low low low one star hotels that at least let you use the dang computer. This is

I expected more when they said hot breakfast. But the only thing got was waffles and bread if you choose to toast it. They didn’t have hot eggs or any kind of meat to accompany that. They had BOILED eggs and that was such a bad thing to see. The worst thing you could want to eat for breakfast, very unacceptable and bad quality, poor breakfast. So if you’re coming here for the breakfast pick a different one I had asked for someone to bring the trolley up to the room to carry my luggage down. A request that I’ve made at other hotels without a problem. But here the manager said no and told me to come get it myself, that there was no one who can do that for me. They also knocked at the door twice after allowing I check out at 1 it seemed like they were coordinated and came at 10 and 12:13. T

The price was good and I got upgraded to a first floor suite. However, the housekeeping was suspect. For example, there was a bag of moldy food in the refrigerator and the room was hot enough to start melting the hand soaps.

I previously stayed at this hotel years ago and returned for a 2-day trip. Though the hotel looked OK from exterior, this time around there were people hanging around the hotel that made it look creepy. The room smelled terrible. I found roaches crawling on the bed. I let the front desk know. They said they would do something but the room was left as is. I will not return to the hotel again.

What a nice breath of fresh air - in today’s world.The staff is outstanding and pleasant to deal with. I requested a room for myself instead of driving into Frederick County with an immanent storm coming thru that evening .handled it in less than a minute over the phone and was comfortable and safe in exactly the room I was promised within minutes. Nice And the waffles the next morning were life changing
