Silver Lake Motel & Inn

What a great little spot for a few nights stay! The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Tori, the manager, was very accommodating and helpful! She even took her golf cart to the store to pick up ice for us. And our last day there, she opened the seafood company across the street early, (where she works a second job), so we could take home fresh seafood before our ferry home.

I have stayed here for years - both with my family as a kid and an adult. I choose to stay here for the wonderful memories it brings back to me. However I am sad to say this will be my last visit to silver lake inn. The entire time we’ve been here, they have been cutting down trees (beautiful cedars, mind you) and putting branches through a wood chipper. It’s after 7 pm and they’re still at it. My husband and I can’t even hear each other talk in the room it’s so loud. The front desk girl was very flippant when I said something and she essentially said the owner didn’t care about how disturbing this would be to guests. I came to relax and cannot do so in the room I’ve paid for. And there’s no one in the office so can’t talk to anyone there - intentional perhaps? If this is how the new owner

Fantastic location! In the heart of the Village and right on the harbor. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. My dog made several friends and she was welcomed along with us. Friendliest hotel I've ever stayed at, great service, with a lounge open 24/7!

This is a wonderful location for looking out at the water from the living room, bedroom & porch. The traffic was quiet all of the time we were there. The suite we had was very large and could easily have accomodated 6 people. More if some used the living room to sleep. There's a fully equipped kitchen. The whole suite was spotlesslh clean and tastefully decorated. The owner Meredith was very helpful with any questions we had. I think it would be a great place for a family vacation or for friends wanting to explore Ocracoke. Susan Fourness-Ewell

10/10 highly recommend!!! We had our annual family reunion at Silver Lake this year and it was amazing! The hotel was lovely, the rooms were wonderful and clean and had everything we wanted and needed. Plenty of parking for our 35+ group of people. Great outdoor space to hang out in. We had a large suite that slept 8 of us comfortably. Meredith was an absolute GEM! She was so super nice and accommodating to all of our needs. Can't wait to come back and see you! Will recommend to all of my friends 🤩
