Anchorage Inn & Marina

Spent my birthday weekend at the Anchorage with my bff and my sister and my service dog. We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was a but dated, but clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful, giving us extra clean towels when we asked. The rate was reasonable for a beach hotel. I'd definitely stay again!

My wife and I spent a night here and were satisfied. Room was spacious and spotless, if a bit dated. AC worked well and bed was comfortable.||Bicycle rental across the street was half price for guests. Parking was sufficient. Price reasonable.||This motel is a 2 min walk from the ferry landing and close to many local shops/restaurants. Breakfast was not included.

Our first adventure to Ocracoke Island. We had the opportunity to stay at Anchorage. Friendly and cheerful staff! The rooms were clean and tidy. Beautiful view of the boats, water and light house. It made me snort laugh when we asked for a luggage cart. They gave us a wheel barrel. That was their system! And it worked!! Not gonna knock it! Good price! When you arrive and the front desk clerk isn’t there, you’re keys will be waiting for you in an envelope. Don’t expect much technology wise! What do you expect, we’re on an Island!

Good location and decent room. The bathroom door wouldn't close and latch. The shower curtain is mounted too low so there's a foot of curtain on the tub floor. These things were tolerable, however the woman at the front desk was the most unfriendly, unhelpful, rude woman that I've encountered. We will be back to Ocracoke in the spring but we'll never stay at the Anchorage Inn ever again.

Plumbing issues, microwave issues. We stayed here previously 3 or so years ago. Moisture ...We were able to adjust schedule secondary to horrible weather with out penalty..Close to shops, restaurants, Historical sites. Just not a good trip this time.
