Signature Inn San Francisco Marina District

The location of the hotel is excellent — we were able to walk everywhere easily. The rooms are quite small and there is only one ceiling light, so there’s no separate bedside lighting, which makes the room feel a bit impractical at night. Also, the bathroom doors don’t fully close, so privacy could be an issue if you are traveling with someone other than your partner. That being said, the room was clean, comfortable, and it was sufficient for our stay.

This place exceeded my expectations. Everything suited our needs. We like to spend most of our time sight seeing than hanging in the motel room. This place offered modern decor, clean rooms, comfortable beds, a wonderful shower and lots of cozy pillows. And the receptionists were friendly and helpful. Location was awesome with plenty of shops and eateries around. Parking was limited, but we were lucky to find a space. We will definitely be staying here next time we visit.

We booked this motel redeeming points from the Sonesta loyalty program and had no high expectations, after having read the reviews over the past years. Our stay exceeded all expectations! This motel met our purpose perfectly: arriving to SF from the North, crossing the Golden Gate, the hotel is just a few minutes away, on Lombard Street (which some miles on becomes the work famous steep street). The neighborhood is safe and has convenient bars an restaurants. Bus N° 28, connecting he Golden Gate Bridge with Fisherman's Warf, stops right in front of the hotel. Free parking is available in the inside court (as for all other motels on Lombard). Our room was clean, spacious and quite (ask for a rook on the backside opposite the entrance). We stayed in room 201 this weekend for two nights and it was very relaxing and room was clean. We also loved the nice color schemes in room and the decor inside. We had no issues at all and staff was very friendly. We will for sure stay again in the future. Thank you so much!
