Sheraton Grand Rapids Airport Hotel

My stay at the Sheraton was truly exceptional! The entire hotel was spotless, the gym was impressively well-equipped, and the indoor pool was a wonderful bonus. The on-site restaurant was both convenient and enjoyable, offering a great atmosphere and delicious food. I was especially grateful for the assistance of a staff member named Wayland. He was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to guide me to nearby spots for shopping and great coffee. His help made my stay even more enjoyable. I’m already looking forward to returning for another overnight stay so I can continue exploring the area and enjoying everything the hotel has to offer.

It's the best Marriott-branded option in Grand Rapids outside of downtown.||The Sheraton is a strong, full-service hotel -- which can be hard to find in Grand Rapids -- with a restaurant, a Bonvoy lounge, partial room service, a great gym and a nice pool area.||The restaurant can be hit-and-miss and, oddly, not always the usual level of west Michigan warmth. Service in the evening was confusing (seat yourself or wait at the entrance; who knows?!). In the morning, having a Starbucks counter is great -- but anyone eating in the restaurant also needs to queue up to order, so the line can take a long time. I stayed for two weeks. The rooms weren't cleaned very well, but were clean enough. No bugs or anything. Just crumbs next to the bed and in corners, and a dirty title when first getting to my room. The parking lot is awful and terribly maintained. The elevators and general condition of the doors and structure are not great. It's not a good stay for business. They don't have desks, just these little round tables that go up and down, but never get low enough to sit at comfortably with a chair. The beds and shower were excellent. The room is pretty big. The mini fridge is poor quality. The heating and cooling is hit or miss depending on your room. One room was good, but the other was dreadful. Wear shoes or socks or slippers in the rooms. We did the park stay and fly here at this hotel. This was a great value. We slept here the night before our flight and then they arrange the shuttle to take us to the airport at 5:20 in the morning. The room was clean and the lobby area is very nice. We also had some drinks in the hotel restaurant/bar the night before and it was very nice. The bartender provided great service. We definitely would stay here again if we had another early morning flight. For about the same price you would pay for just parking at the airport, you are able to leave your car here for about 10 days and get a night’s stay and free shuttle. Highly recommend!

Kevin the General Manager is so inviting as walks around and talks to guests like it is a small town bed and breakfast. Jenelle at the restaurant is helpful helpful helpful. Great smile and service Our only regret is having to leave after 3 days and 2 nights. We have traveled the country and different countries and the service and experience is equal or better than some of the 5 star resorts we stay at.
