Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Downtown by IHG

Rooms were great, service at breakfast was good, and the southwest skillet was delicious! Elevators do require your key card, so it made me feel like this hotel was in a sketchy neighborhood. But it was super convenient to have parking on-site. Lots of places within walking distance, and right off the highway. Pool is pretty small, but the hot tub was nice. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay in Grand Rapids! The rooms are great, the restaurant is open and has great food, the staff is helpful. I also love the location. The river walk is across the road, and downtown restaurants are down the street - all walkable. The GR Public Museum and the Gerald Ford Museums are also across the road. SO MUCH to do within walking distance! This is a hotel we will return to many times. I also appreciate the reserved parking for Diamond Elite guests......it helps.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last weekend to go to a concert at a local venue. We checked out early (didn't stay the 2nd night) because the beds we're so hard and uncomfortable. Upon arriving home 3 days later saw a charge to my card for $250 for a cleaning fee. We left the room very clean. They claim that the room smelled like smoke. I was shocked because I have never in my life smoked in a hotel room. I called manager and they are sticking with their story. I either think they made a mistake and charged the wrong room number or they are committing fraud. This is very hurtful and upsetting because I didn't do anything wrong and they are falsely accusing me. Also housekeeping tried to keep coming in with towels after my husband clearly told her several times to leave them by the d

This was perfect start to finish! Its in a great location downtown I was able to walk to the heart of downtown in less than 10 mins. I went to a concert at 20 monroe and even the walk back to the hotel after the show was safe and quick. They also provided free parking which was great! The staff was friendly and we able to accommodate my request to check in a tad early. The rooms are clean and updated and the tv was huge! They also had a great little mini mart and restaurant, and free cookies on our way out! If I ever need to stay in GR again, this would be my first choice.
