Scottish Inns DeSoto TX

I was actually impressed with the room amenities. I had a microwave, mini fridge, iron with ironing board. The location is perfect. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel employees were nice and friendly. Yet the only problem I had was the cleaniess of the room The couch needs to be cleaned along with the spider webs in multiple areas of the ceiling. Also my towels looked dirty.

Positive: The dryer is $2.00 and the clothes are still really damp after the first load is over. Even if it's set on highest settings. You have to spend $4.00 to get dry clothes then they are not hot just air dried. Staff explained the dryer is new each time Negative: Their towels don't smell fresh at all or look very clean.

My workers and I had a good time. We even were able to grill outside. Our rooms were cleanly daily and we got a good rate of $49 from the beginning since we had 7 rooms but when we let the manager know we were checking out in a couple days we increased our rate to $84!! Very unprofessional and won’t have my business again !! After all the business we gave he got upset we were done with our work and leaving in a couple days. Tells you a lot about the manager

The room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. Trash in the drawers and under couch cushions. Sink drain clogged. Stained box spring with mattress in a zip up cover. Was scared to even look! Empty cup on the floor. Priced accordingly.

So Google family.....once more I am online one wonderful day, searching for a reasonable and "un-janky" room on a busy pre-fourth holiday weekend and mind you I am on priceline....so I come across the Scottish Inn with a total of 77.97 with no listing of hotel deposit right? Looks decent enough that with detail of having a nice breakfast so I book it. Something dawns on me to call and check for a deposit and Melissa said 25.00 due upon check in cash or charge right? Don't sound too bad so I go for it. When I check in Akil does his best but hasn't quite built rapport with me and put me in a room after making some adjustments and I am in for the night. But am informed of NO BREAKFAST and not even coffee. So yes Google family they have no breakfast. They have snacks and soda at the front de
