Baymont by Wyndham Dallas South-DeSoto

If you try to order a room online, it says that the hotel is completely booked and on one whenever you look up the hotel, it states that the hotel does not accept cash that they only accept credit cards only but when you get to the hotel, they tell you that they do not accept credit cards that they only accept cash only there’s no hot tub the swimming pool and the gym are supposedly out of order. Their dryer does not work the elevator is not up-to-date on inspection and when you get inside the elevator, there’s dog pee on the ground. There’s no breakfast buffet and supposedly Baymont is by Wyndham so if you have a Wyndham account and try to use your points because you have a Wyndham account and Baymont is supposedly by Wyndham, they don’t let you use your Wyndham points. They say that they

Beds were comfortable. Could use better pillows. Room temperature was nice and the halls smelled nice and fresh. Breakfast was great. Sausage, eggs, French toast, fruits and yogurt was a great choice. Juice and cereals were offered also with muffins. Good value stay for the night. I would stay here again.

I was in town recently and I knew I only needed a room to sleep so I booked this spot. I usually book Marriott but considering the quick trip i booked here since it was close to the event. Well where do I start? 1st the pic on the site I used to book this hotel was a pic of a brand new La Quinta. When I drove up I was lost because it was a different hotel. Just by the looks of this hotel, I would not have booked it. It was very upsetting to see. When I walked in, I was pleasantly Pleased with a nice lobby. When we turned the corner, there were signs of holes in the wall that had been fixed Very poorly. The smell of marijuana was reeking from the rooms on the bottom floor. Is it the worst place I’ve stayed? No, but it’s rough. We booked a suite, but the couch was saggy and old, the desk chair was peeling, and the room had a musty smell. So it wasn’t the suite that we expected. Our key card also worked 50% of the time and we had to get it remagnetized. We heard from other guests that they had the same issue. Fortunately the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. However I will not be staying at another Baymont.
