Comfort Suites DeSoto Dallas South

This is word for word what I sent them. We have checked out of your hotel because of your absolutely unacceptable conditions and employees attitudes. We are in town for a week for work and chose your hotel because we have stayed at Comfort Suites several times and always had good experiences and your guest laundry, that we need because we are working while here. Your room was very beat up. Had no working electrical outlets near the beds. Terrible water pressure in the shower that has a lot of rust and when my wife went to do our laundry today, she filled the washer with our clothes, then added detergent to find out that it didn't work.... When she confronted Brenda at the front desk she was meet with a very bad attitude and was told it was broken and its not her fault there was no signs!

I wish that I could give a zero. I am writing to report an extremely disappointing experience I had at Comfort Suites in DeSoto, Texas this past Saturday afternoon 2/21/26. I have several encounters at this location before and have never encountered any issues, which is why this situation was so surprising and upsetting. I called ahead that morning to politely ask if it would be possible to check in around 1:00 PM, as my family and friends were traveling in for a Galentine’s celebration we had planned. I understand that early check-in is never guaranteed, and I was simply inquiring about availability. Please check the phone records because Faith front desk was upset because she had to repeat herself. I want them to listen to calls on that Saturday 2/21/26 around approximately between 1:00

Room was clean and comfortable, but outdated. Shower was moldy. 1st floor hall had a strong smell of marijuana which they try to cover it with a freshener. Breakfast was ok. We had gone some where else, but the reservation had been done on line a day prior.

Hotel was nice for the price, breakfast bar had a variety of things to choose from. The front desk lady was so kind. My only complaint is that there were a few roaches in my room and a dead one in the fridge. Also, I highly think the carpet needs a really good, deep cleaning. Other than that everything else was cool.

Comfortable, cool stay at Comfort Suites DeSoto Dallas South. We were in town for a wedding and stayed four (4) nights at this location. The only drawback was not having housekeeping turn over the room daily. We did not know this or we would have planned accordingly with linens etc. the first day. Getting replacement linen was a hassle as the front desk said get them from the carts in the hallway and they were not always easily found. The toilet had a round seat on it, but the bowl was oval - nothing major, but not well thought-out. Ours was a Double Queen Suite with extra room, which included a fold out sofa bed. There was no linen for the fold out bed, so we had to go back down for that; again, nothing major, but the room just didn't seem to be well thought-out ahead of time. |Ot
