Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas South - Desoto by IHG

Very lovely place to stay overnight. It was clean and as you see the bathroom impressed us with their artistic ability. Remind us it time to book a cruise. Overall, the location, atmosphere and the staff 4 stars. The young man at the desk 1/18 - 7-8PM, thanks for representing WASHINGTON COMMANDER 👏🏾👏🏾

Positive: Front desk Assistance were very polite and helpful when checking in. Assisted with the computer and printer.**Housekeeping kept the room very clean and replaced cleaning items as needed. Negative: Yes, the carpet needs to be deeply shampooed. There was a doggish terrible odor in the carpet. That was very, very, very disgusting!!🫣 **The exterior of the hotel yard was covered with leaves🍃 and we were bringing leaves into the room. Outside bad!!👎

I have NEVER been so humiliated in my life! My siblings and I got a room for a two night stay... when we pulled up in the morning, one of the African American men that works in the front desk, saw us. He was the african american skinny man standing outside smoking... as soon as walked in, we went upstairs and came back down to eat breakfast. While we were waiting on our sister to come down, Elisha immediately asked us how our stay was and what room we were in. Mind you it wasn't none else downstairs yet, and then the aa man came over to us asking for our name and room number...I gave the wrong number and he comes back saying out loud...my records don't match any of that info but you know what... go ahead and eat... he said it wile flashing his hands at us...I then texted my sister upstairs

The hotel is in a good location. The staff is very nice and warm, but the hotel is rundown. The lobby appears to be fine, but as you step toward the elevator, the carpets are dirty. There’s trash in the cracks of the elevator and the walls are stained throughout the hotel. After reaching my room on the fourth floor. I noticed the carpets were just as dirty. The room was great far as the size. The dry wall/paint was peeling on the walls. The bathroom caulking around the tub was very worn. The floor was making noises as if though the tiles were not set properly. I was very disappointed for this to be a Holiday Inn Express. Although the bed was very comfortable, the room needed a lot of work. This is definitely a location. I would not return to. The inside of the hotel needs a total renovatio

I stayed two weeks for training for work. Staff was very helpful and room comfortable and spacious. Free wifi and daily breakfast also a big bonus.
