San Jose Airport Inn

Chose this hotel based on TA rating , price, and convenience to SJC. We had family flying in and meeting from Hawaii, DC, and LA. We planned to sleep and depart, so why pay more?|Property makes a terrible first impression, 2 levels, no lobby, rooms open to parking lot, zero security. Looks run down. |Our room was spacious, and updated in spartan decor: dark wood floors, queen beds, clean basic bath. Big screen TV. Good internet wifi. So it seemed ok once we looked at our room, and we settled in. |Three of us shared a room (reserved for four), but we found only two sets of towels despite our reservation, and front desk said none available to add. I flew out to San Jose for a job interview and stayed here bc of its proximity to the workplace. First thing I noticed was the lack of deadbolts. I was traveling solo and didn’t feel safe. Secondly, the room looked and smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The bathroom was pretty dirty, it looked as though I would come out dirtier if I tried to shower in it. I had booked the room for a couple of nights but ended up begging a friend to stay on their couch for the remaining days I was in town, even though it was further away from where I needed to be. The extra commute and money was worth not being in an unclean room. I’d avoid at all costs.

Checked in with four children and quickly ran out of soap and towels. I contacted the front desk and within minutes I had enough towels and supplies to get the kids squeaky clean. Excellent Service! Large. clean rooms at a reasonable rate! Highly recommended. Light rail just across the street so extremely well located!

I have been trying various 2-star motels in the area and this is one of the better ones. At these rates, I didn’t expect a high class room. The room was comfortable and I liked that they had laminate floors vs carpet. There’s also a mini fridge and iron. Dish network satellite on TV, I only wish there was a sleep timer. My only complaint inside the room were probably the pillows. They are not very soft/puffy and were very low profile. |||

The hotel was very nice I stayed here because I had a soccer game I was going to attend. The hotel is very clean, my room was very well decorated. It smelled clean, the lobby was my favorite. It's very well decorated. I was very surprised when I got there because I read the Yelp reviews before getting there. Front desk was very friendly. I slept well. There's also a Denny's right next door so that's always a plus in the mornings.
